Situated 410 feet above the city, the Mehrangarh fort was built in 1460 by Rao Jodha, the Rajput king of the Rathore clan. It is one of the biggest forts in India. Inside the imposing thick walls of this majestic fort are several palaces with their intricate carvings and and well stocked museums. Sharing some images from our recent visit to the Mehrangarh Fort.
